MCH Clincal Nurse Educator

Union Hospital, located just minutes from the DE/MD line, is a Top  

100 Hospital with a modern LDRP setting including a newborn nursery  

that provides transitional and intermediate care, and a 10 bed  

pediatric unit.  The Clinical Nurse Educator assesses learner needs;  

selects teaching strategies; conducts/evaluates training; advances  

staff competence through direct teaching, role modeling, orientation  

and clinical education; and acts as a resource to the medical center 

and community.  Requires a BSN (MSN preferred) 5+ years experience 

in  Maternal Child nursing, specialty  certification.  Instructor certification 

in PALS and/or AWHONN Fetal  Monitoring desired.  Educator or CNS 

experience required.
