Director of Corporate Security

New York City based Fortune 500 Company has a dynamic opportunity for  

the right person to assume the role of Director of Corporate Security.

Key Role: Maintain responsibility for the corporate security program  

and all aspects of security, including physical security, loss  

prevention, personnel, and asset protection.  Contribute to all  

aspects of the security strategy as it relates to the entire company  

and staff located throughout the company’s service territory.   

Provide security input and perspective to company executives to  

insure security relevant issues are understood and considered when  

formulating business strategies.  Interpret, disseminate, implement,  

and manage the requirements of National Security and federal, state  

and local regulatory agency guidelines and directives.   Participate  

in industry security working groups. Develop and maintain a close  

working relationship with the law enforcement community within the  

company’s service area.

Functional/Industry Knowledge: 20-year investigative and senior level  

law enforcement management experience, preferably with an FBI  

background; possess a solid understanding of security systems, to  

include CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection; ability to  

conduct in-depth vulnerability and risk assessments; knowledge of New  

York City law enforcement agencies, community organizations and civic  

groups; knowledge of federal, state and local statutes/ordinances;  

ability to interpret, analyze and resolve complex problems; ability  

to be a poised and articulate speaker.

Education: BA or BS degree required (prefer an advanced degree in law  

or other related discipline).
