Reliant Energy is a leading U.S. provider of electricity and energy services. Our

Keystone Station, a coal-fired electric generating station located in Shelocta-PA,

seeks multi-skilled Attendants to operate/maintain a Flue Gas Desulphurization

Scrubber/associated systems, including operation and repair of equipment,

controls, and instrumentation. 

Successful completion of EEI POSS test for Power Plant Operators and an

entry-level FGB Scrubber Attendant test must accompany 2 years of post

secondary education in power plants or mechanical/ electrical field and ability

to operate switches/ controls and perform repairs on scrubber

equipment/instrumentation. Related military experience and/or 3 years of

industrial experience is acceptable in lieu of education. Residence within a

reasonable distance from the facility in order to be available for call-outs and

emergencies is necessary.
