GCMS Final Test Technician

INFICON is a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of  

instrumentation for semiconductor and vacuum-coating industries;  

essential instrumentation for gas leak detection to air conditioning/ 

refrigeration industries; and toxic chemical analysis for emergency  

response and security markets.

In East Syracuse-NY, we seek a GCMS Final Test Technician to define  

and document GCMS test results and evaluate overall system  

performance as well as test and troubleshoot GCMS systems to  

subassembly and component level and work with manufacturing  

engineering to refine test processes and procedures.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, an understanding of gas  

chromatograph and mass spectrometers operation and theory; ability to

perform repetitive testing; mechanical aptitude; ability to work in a  

team based environment; ability to think logically and creatively;  

and excellent communication/organizational skills. Prefer 0-2 years  

of laboratory experience.
