Coal Belt Operators

Reliant Energy, a large independent electric power producer, seeks  

Coal Belt Operators for our Portland (Northampton County) Generating  

Station, a two-unit coal-fired station producing approx. 570 MW.

In these rotating shift positions, you will be responsible for the  

operation and limited maintenance of the conveyor belts that provide  

the station with coal. Candidates must have a HS diploma/equivalent  

and successfully complete the EEI POSS test for Power Plant  

Operators, a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background  

check. Experience in the operation/maintenance of power plant related  

equipment is desired, but not required.
