MidAmerican Energy is seeking experienced candidates for the  

following positions at our Muscatine, IA facility:

Electrical Technician Journeyman (Ref #0800180) -

Responsible for installation, repair, testing, maintenance and  

troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic plant  

equipment/systems. Requires knowledge of theory applying to  

maintenance of electrical systems, circuits, equipment and PLC’S.  

Must have completed an Electrical Apprenticeship and be an Electrical  

Journeyman.

Unit Operator (Ref #0800117) -

On a rotating shift basis, this position is responsible for the safe,  

efficient starts, operation, and shut downs of boilers, turbines,  

generators and their auxiliaries, and other necessary plant  

equipment. This classification directs the activities of other plant  

operators; performs minor maintenance; and may be assigned vibration  

analysis. Requires HS diploma or GED and completion of the Equipment  

Operator Apprenticeship.
