PROJECT ENGINEER

Brookfield Power, one of the largest independent owners of  

hydroelectric power generation in North America, seeks a Project  

Engineer to be based at our St. Lawrence Operations Production  

Center located in Potsdam-NY.

The Project Engineer, reporting to the Production Center Asset  

Manager, will be responsible for the design, construction,  

maintenance, repair and management of company projects; forecasting  

and preparation of funding requests; and support of compliance  

activities necessary to operate hydroelectric power generation  

assets. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or 7 years  

of related experience; knowledge of Outlook/Excel/ Word; and  

excellent communication skills.  Knowledge of state/local and FERC- 

related licensing/compliance requirements is a plus.
