Buyer/Planner

INFICON is a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of  

instrumentation for semiconductor and vacuum-coating industries;

essential instrumentation for gas leak detection to air conditioning/ 

refrigeration industries; and toxic chemical analysis for emergency  

response and security markets.

For East Syracuse-NY, we seek a Buyer/Planner to be responsible for  

both buying and production planning; procure material to meet quality/ 

price/delivery requirements; plan/schedule production including  

review and analysis of forecasted/actual demand; and analyze/ 

implement engineering changes.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; 5+ years  

of experience in purchasing and/or production control (CPM and/or  

CPIM preferred); strong organizational skills; and excellent  

knowledge of ERP software/PCs.
