Mechanical Design Engineer

Just Born, Inc., a recognized and respected leader in the confectionery industry famous

for MIKE and IKE®, HOT TAMALES®, ZOURS®, MARSHMALLOW PEEPS®,

andPeanut Chews®, has an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer in our Bethlehem

manufacturing facility.

Successful candidate will develop/design/prepare drawings; develop specifications;

identify/guide vendors on fabrication of assemblies and systems to enhance machinery

and equipment; justify/implement engineering solutions for various projects while

monitoring/controlling project costs. Candidate must possess strong project management

skills to execute various interdisciplinary projects as well as excellent interpersonal skills

and the ability to work effectively with interdepartmental teams throughout the organization.

Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 5 years experience in food manufacturing

and machine design, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.  Experience in

pneumatic systems, electro mechanical systems, robotics, high speed packaging, PLCs,

process controllers and electrical systems a plus.
