Maintenance Mechanics & Mechanic/Machinist

A leading North American producer/distributor of power, Brookfield  

Power is a developer and operator of hydroelectric power facilities.  

Today we have 150 power generating facilities on 60 river systems, 1  

wind farm and 2 thermal plants.

For our St. Lawrence River Power Center in Potsdam-NY and our Lake  

Ontario Power Center in Watertown-NY, we seek Maintenance Mechanics  

to serve our hydroelectric facilities. Requires the ability to  

perform various types of skilled work and mechanical/ electrical  

installation, construction, maintenance, operations, testing,  

troubleshooting, installation, inspection and repair work on systems/ 

equipment associated with generating facilities as well as ability to  

perform work in one or more of the following: millwrighting,  

electrical, machining, welding, testing, operating, carpentry and  

pipefitting required.  Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial experience  

and 2-year technical degree desired.  Starting base wages are $16-$26/ 

hour (commensurate with experience).

A Mechanic/Machinist is also needed in Watertown.
